Our client in the Willamette Valley is seeking a Winemaker. This position is with an established, estate vineyard based winery in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. The winemaker must have 10 years of winemaking experience with five years as the head winemaker. Experience with Burgundian varietals, especially Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris very important in this position. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent winemaking skills and experience overseeing estate vineyards. Experience with defining wine styles and implementing cellar protocols necessary. BS degree in Viticulture and Enology required.

The position involves cellar management and lab testing. Must have experience with DE and Pad filtration as well as knowledge of cross flow and/or roto-vac filtration methods. This position will oversee the cellar staff. 5+ years of cellar and winery experience required.
